Your favorite band isn’t your favorite just because of the music.
Yes, that has a huge part, but it’s also their personalities.
It’s that finding out they’re not coming to your city ruins your week.
If you’ve seen them live, you can name all the dates by heart.
It’s the fact that their videos can make you smile with tears streaming down you face.
You can make fun of them like you would with your best friend.
You do things, such as mowing the lawn, just to buy a show ticket, a CD, a shirt, a DVD.
You fall in love with their personalities.
You cry because you’re so proud of them.
You defend them with your life.
For some people, they’ve saved their lives.
You love their crew as you love the band.
They’re the reason why you know some of your best friends.

Musik.

• Det är ofta jag tänker vad som skulle ha hänt ifall jag aldrig kollade på melodifestivalen 2007 och sett The Ark vinna. Om det bara vart jag som såg dem och inte Sandra. Vad hade hänt då? Vem hade jag vart? Hur hade det sett ut nu isf?
Trädgårn, Varberg, Huskvarna, Malmö, Köpenhamn, Sundsvall, Varberg, Östersund, Skövde, Liseberg, Linköping, KB, Flygeln, Västerås, Sofiero, Arken i Parken, Liseberg, The Tivoli, Gröna lund. Forever.

• Tokio Hotel. I sjuan, om Linnea inte haft med sin mp3 till skolan och spelat upp Schrei för mig. Om hon aldrig visat dom för mig så hade jag kanske aldrig börjat gilla dom. Hade missat massa som jag aldrig hade märkt av. Fanträffar, tyska, musikgalor, sena nätter, thf, andra fans, alla tidningar, alla fina textrader, Millis. Hade det inte vart för Tokio Hotel hade jag aldrig börjat skriva med Millis.
Hovet, Scandinavium

• Placebo. Dom blir aldrig gamla eller uttjatade.  Allt med dom är bra. Jag måste se dom live innan jag dör. Jag ska.

• I malmö oktober 2008 när Sandra hade med sig The Heroin Diaries. Vi började läsa tillsammans och när jag kom hem började jag googla på Mörley Crüe med en gång. Peace and love 2009, Sonisphere 2010.


Musik är inte bara något som man lyssnar på. Det är så mycket mer.
